Nutri Nova A/B is Bio Nova's simplest solution for cultivating on artificial substrates such as rockwool, polyurethane, mapito and others. This fertilizer is free of excess ingredients and contains only minerals plants are able to absorb directly. In other words: Nutri Nova A/B is a complete nutrient solution which has the convenience of synthetic A/B-systems and the quality of the best organic fertilizers.

All ingredients are "Food-Grade"-quality products and chelated trace elements so they can be absorbed within a large pH-range and carry the promise of high quality yields. Equal amounts of both A and B at a pH of 5,5-6,5 will do the job for every starting or professional grower.

Coco Nova A/B fertilizer is the simplest solution for cultivating on coconut slabs. All minerals are "Food-Grade"-quality and the trace elements are chelated so that they can easily be absorbed within a large pH-range. This fertilizer is especially formulated for coconut substrate, which guarantees an optimal growth and flowering on coconut slabs, in particular in case of re-use. Make sure the slabs are free of pathogens in case of re-use.

Proper amounts of both A and B and adjustment of the pH to 5.5-6.5 will bring top result for the ones in favour of growing on coco fibres.

Phosphorus makes for the development of a healthy, extensive root system and an exuberant flowering. Potassium prompts the flowering, the so-called flowering potency. The combination of these two components in a biomineral form can rightfully be called a superbloomer. Therefore, this is an essential component for any cultivation.

This fertilizer should be used in combination with BN Hydro Supermix, BN Soil Supermix or BN NFT-AQUA Supermix. A combination with one of these three makes for a complete fertilization on hydro, soil or NFTsystems.

The importance of nitrogen should be a well-known fact for all cultivators. Nitrogen is quantitatively speaking the most important fertilizer as it is, the primary substance of proteins (amino acids) and chlorophyll. Furthermore, nitrogen appears in the chromosomes (nuclei), DNA and vitamins. It also plays a significant role in the plant's osmoses regulation. A deficiency of nitrogen manifests itself in the fading of the biggest leaves and a too early blooming. An excess results in dark green leaves and a slow growth. It is of great importance that when nitrogen is used as a fertilizer, the appropriate form is used.

BN N 27 % is mixable with all fertilizers, it is absorbed immediately, works effectively, and is economic.

Besides the single N, P, and K fertilizers BIO NOVA also offers a complete N-P-K combination in the ideal proportions of N P K 12- 8-11. This combination is especially qualified for soil and hydrocultivations and makes for an ideal combination with other mineral fertilizers and trace element mixes. BN NPK 12-8-11 is very economic. BN NPK 12-8-11 does not contain any excess ingredients and works very rapidly.

A dosage of 1:1000 increases the total amount of N by 9.5 mmol; the amount of P by 1.4 mmol and the amount of K by 3 mmol. Depending on the used combinations the dosage should be 100-300 ml. per 100 liters of water.

Since ages, phosphor has been known for its role as activator of root formation and blooming of plants. Phosphor also plays a role in the forming of celmembranes and it is a molecular building block for DNA and the energy carriers ATP and ADP. Furthermore, phosphor also establishes a good metabolism of sugars and regulates the forming of enzymes. A deficiency of phosphor manifests itself in a slow growth and purple discolorisation of the veines at the lower surface of the leaf and purple stems. An excess of phosphor results in an ill-growing plant with an induced shortage of zinc.

BN P 20 % is absorbed fast, does not have any sideeffects, and is free of chlorides or other excess ingredients.

Besides the basic elements N and P, also K is also crucial for every cultivation. Potassium regulates the water household and prompts the blooming. Potassium also plays an important role in the forming of cells, the osmoses regulation and the carbohydrate household. It is also important for the opening and closing of the stomata, which enable the drainage of excessive heat. A deficiency of potassium manifests itself when the plant does not open the stomata sufficiently for vaporization in order to cool down. This results into the development of chlorosis at the rims of the leaves which develops into necrosis (death) in a later stage.

BN K 20 % is free of chlorides, works very fast, and most importantly: it is clean and very economic!

BN X-ceLpro is a natural growing and flowering stimulator, which can be administered to ALL sorts of plants and significantly increases the quantity and quality of all crops: This sophisticated combination of components stimulates the bio-chemical functions on all levels. This product contains 15 % calcium, 3 % nitrogen, and traces of iron, copper and manganese. Calcium is transported in the plant by means of water conduction. In situations with a high humidity or in a compact crop the rate of conduction is small and can lead to a deficiency of calcium. This in turn leads to softened cell walls which manifests itself immediately in an increased sensitivity to fungi, and the dying off of young leaves and growing points. An excess of calcium results into brown spots on the leaves.

In areas with soft water addition of 25-75 ml. per 100 litres of water in combination with Hydro-, Soil-, and NFT-AQUA Supermix will be beneficial.

Magnesium forms the reactive nuclei in the chlorophyll, which converts light energy into biochemical energy (ATP and ADP).

A deficiency of magnesium manifests itself in chlorosis between the veins of old leaves and red/purple coloration of the leaf stems. Early dropping of leaves is a sign as well. An excess results into an ill-growing crop with small leaves.

In case of deficiencies add 25-100 ml. per 100 litres of nutrient solution. Note that when you are already using one of Bio Nova's main fertilizers a supplement of magnesium is not necessary.

This product contains: Fe (iron HEEDTA); Mn (manganese EDTA); Bo (boron monohydrate); Zn (zinc EDTA) and Mo (sodiummolybdate). A shortage of trace elements manifests itself in the malfunctioning of a great number of the plant's functions, eventually resulting into all sorts of deficiencies and ultimately the dying off of the plant. A deficiency always shows in the young leaves. This mix should be used in order to solve deficiencies or as a basis for a complete nutrient solution.

In case of deficiencies and as a basis for a complete mix add 25-50 ml. per 100 litres of nutrient solution. Note that when you are already using one of Bio Nova's main fertilizers it is not necessary to use BN Trace-mix.

BN-ZYM is a natural bio-catalyst, based on specific enzymes. Enzymes are specialized protein molecules and work as process accelerators in most bio-chemical processes. BNZYM stimulates an increased micro-life activity, and converts the nutrients and minerals in the soil into material that is directly absorbable by the crop. Citric acid is an essential part of the so-called citric acid or Krebs cycle. During this process, plants convert nutrients into the energy carriers ATP and ADP. These energy carriers are at the bases of all biochemical processes in the plant. Plants make citric acid themselves, but a supplement has demonstrable positive effects. The crop is more vital and lively after about two days.

Initial soaking of rockwool and mapito: add acid to water until pH 5.5. Flushing of rockwool slabs or mapito: make a solution to pH 5.8 and flush each slab (or 10 liters of Mapito) with 5 litres. Soil / coco substrate: once per 2-3 weeks as a supplement (without fertilizers).

A great number of extensive research on root development and reinforcement done over a period of several years, show that the use of BioROOTS leads to a larger root activity and a higher yield of all of the tested crops. This stimulator has already been applied with great success for many years in all kinds of crops. BioROOTS can be applied on the leaf as well as at the roots.

This is a pure biological care product, a special combination of sea-algae, plant extracts and chelated (EDTA) calcium. NoburN is a natural wetting agent and surfactant based on ± 96%Yucca-extract (Sarsaponin Schidegera). NoburN lowers the surface-tension of liquids, so that they can penetrate more easily in all growing media and gives a far better leaf coverage when using foliar sprays. Many natural vitamins, hormones and amino-acids are administered with the use of NoburN.

NoburN can be mixed in with liquid fertilizers or pesticides. After the mixing, some foam may occur, but this dissolves by itself over time. Continuously add 30-50 ml. per 100 litres of nutrient solution. In foliar sprays: 10 ml. per litre of water.

VITAL is a 100% natural plant-strengthener, consisting of natural fatty-acids, Silicium and trace elements. Frequent spraying with VITAL strengthens the cell-tissue and changes the pH-value. This slows down the development of fungus-infestations (such as mildew), and encapsulates infestations which have already taken place, in order to prevent further spread. The plant's natural resistance plays a considerable role in the development of such infestations. A well-growing, strong crop is by definition less sensitive to diseases and plagues. Modern views on the protection of crops against all sorts of infestations have increased the emphasis on precautionary measures.

Vitrasol is a liquid organic soil-improver/fertilizer based on molasses, meant for blooming or potassium loving plants. This product is absorbed by both roots and leaves, which practically rules out burning of the plant. Vitrasol mixes easily with water. Keeping diluted product or using drip emitters is not recommended because of the organic nature of the product. As a result of its organic basis, Vitrasol establishes a stable and constant growth, a strong root-hair development, a healthy colour and a high natural resistance to diseases.

BN-Algaemix is a 100% organic algae-extract composed of the brown deep-sea algae. This bio-organic fertilizer is mixable with all fertilizers and could also be used as foliar feed. BN-Algaemix stimulates an optimal root development, heals and prevents mineral deficiencies and effectively controls and protects diseases. Furthermore, it regulates the absorption of other nutrients.

This block of compressed coconut expands into 10 litres of ready-to-use coconut substrate after adding 3 litres of water to it. Its volume will increase approximately tenfold. As a result of its initial size, the substrate is fairly easy to transport.

Coconut substrate has a great number of benefits, which are:

For years now, Bio Nova has been offering an excellent pre-fertilized potting soilmixture called BN Soilmix A-Quality. This mix consists of grinded and sieved garden peat (of a "Regeling Handels Potgronden"- quality, i.e. "Regulation for the Trade of Potting soil"), Baltic white peat ("R.H.P."-quality), special PG mix, magnesium lime and specific additives.

This mix is delivered in plastic bags and is ready-to-use. The included fertilizer suffices for the first three weeks, after this period use a liquid fertilizer such as BN Soil Supermix or BN Hydro Supermix (see the fertilization schemes for more information).
